Use Fraction Pizza for selected visual practice with parts of a whole, equivalent fractions, and comparison. It is untimed, needs no student account, and can support classroom review; it does not cover the full fraction curriculum.

Grade 3 classroom warm-up: parts of a whole

  1. Choose Easy in Fraction Pizza. Ask students to name the equal parts in one whole pizza.
  2. Build 2/4 together: four equal slices in the whole, with two shaded. Ask what each number tells us.
  3. Students try an eight-question round. Leave time to explain a picture, retry, or use Reveal; speed is not the goal.
  4. Discuss one answer together. A game score is practice feedback, not evidence of mastery.
