Daily Math Quest

Eight untimed math questions a day, shared by local calendar date. From October 3, 2026, foundational grade 3 practice leads into grade 4 review and clearly marked grade 5 stretch. There is no sign-up and there are no ads. Finish it and you can copy a spoiler-free result to share.

What is in a Daily Quest

From October 3, 2026: shared mixed review for grades 3–5, with foundational questions first, then marked review and stretch. Earlier quests retain their original advanced percentages and two-step algebra. This is selected practice, not the whole curriculum.

  • Grade 3 foundations — two-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping
  • Grade 3 foundations — multiplication and exact division facts
  • Grade 4 review — adding like-denominator fractions and two-digit multiplication
  • Grade 5 stretch — adding hundredths and unlike-denominator fractions
  • Earlier version — historical quests keep their original questions and saved scores

Each day brings eight new questions. Play whenever you like.

Saved results stay on this device. Clearing browser data removes them.

For teachers

The Daily Quest works well as a warm-up: it is short, it is the same for every student in the room, and nobody needs an account to start. Because everyone nationwide gets the same eight questions, a class can compare answers without anyone logging in.

The last month of quests stays available, so a day missed to a field trip or a snow day can still be set as homework. Class links filter the game catalogue by grade and skill and reuse the same short URL all year.

Why a daily puzzle at all

Short daily practice beats a long session once a week for building arithmetic fluency, because recall improves with spacing rather than with total time spent. Two minutes a day is a realistic amount for a nine-year-old to sustain.

Outside the United States this is a daily maths puzzle; the topics are the same ones taught in Years 3-6 of the Australian Curriculum, Key Stage 2 in England, Grades 3-5 in Ontario and Levels 2-4 of the New Zealand Curriculum.
